Hume obviously relys on probability and that the cause and effect theory can only be justified if the probability of the effect happening in part of the cause, are high.

Yeah I think that is pretty accurate. Chance is a big part of life and everything you do plays a vital role on ho you are shaped today. It was once said that if you go back in time- you already changed the course of some events because you're not thinking about the same thoughts that you originally were thinking of at that period of time.
